The thing about the internet is it affords you to make friends and maintain friendships even from far distances. This is definitely true with Christine and her beautiful, funny family.
I've been following Christine's blog for years and met her, in person, for the first time, a couple of weeks ago. We went to dinner, had desserts, and there was no awkward moments the entire time we were hanging out.

A promise to myself
I will eat healthy.

I will exercise.
I will take pictures.
I will write poems and stories.
I will travel.
I will be a good mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend.
My daughter will always - always - come first.
I will not compromise when it comes to my values.
I will be an individual.
I will be myself and no one else.
