She's one now.
She turned one last month. On her actual birthday, we were going to spend it in the city, the three of us. Lunch at Teabox Cafe, followed by a visit to the Central Park zoo, then family portraits at one of the park benches, and finally, FAO Schwartz to pick her birthday gift. But, for lame reasons we couldn't avoid, we ended up staying at home and instead celebrated the following day with family, close friends, and Santa.
Yes, this is how special this girl is. Santa made an appearance even before Christmas. How awesome is that?
She's so different now. She speaks her mind in a language only she understands. She climbs the stairs unassisted but still looks back just to make sure you're right behind her. She sings, she dances, she screams to the top of her lungs. She drives me crazy in in a good-kind-of-way.
I'm so in-love with her.
